today was an interesting day to say the least... got off to a ruff start due to a late breakfast, oh well dealt with it and got to clinic early to take care of some paperwork. got my huge quota of paperwork done before seeing my first patient of the day. however this didn't come easy either.. the schedule hadn't been made, nice one... my ci was out of town over the weekend and didn't bother coming in early enough this morning to get it done OR was easily distracted and didn't get it done until well after i had seen my first patient (which was scheduled by word of mouth, nice). later in the day, well after the first patient i was cornered and asked why i didn't make the schedule, well, haven't been shown all the intricacies of making the schedule so i didn't want to screw it up, and besides it's your deal.. had a long team meeting today, lots of stuff to go over on patients, was good, but i was fighting the heavy eyes.... on our way back to the gym, my clinical coordinator called, only 2hours early (nice job worthless coordinator assistant, way to pay attention to detail) anyway turned out to work ok, had a nice chat and so did my ci. lunch was good, ate outside because it was gorgeous....also read a little bit in "lance armstrong's war," still think he's a dick. anyway the day mellowed out, but i was keeping a close eye on the time, things to do places to be....had to get home for a phone interview...and training ride.
interview first: well just before i called to interview i checked my messages and there was one from a place in town that i would like to work for...actually from someone i met previously so that's great...called and left a message, will try again wed.. back to the interview: went good, seems like the site and i have a lot in common. def worth pursuing further.
training ride: 90min, 30 warm up, 30 steady state z2, 30 cool down... was a good ride on the rollers, did some spin ups to get the ole legs going...
shower, sleep, repeat...hahaha
