bfca

so i roll by this every day i commute to clinic, fitting being on a bike path and all.. haven't taken the time to jump down into the riverbed and take a closer look, but maybe a day when i walk or something.

the riding has been somewhat good, well maybe not all that great, but at least it's better to be miserable with other people, than to be miserable alone. sat we met at 9am, and rode ~65miles, the first 8 or so were in such thick fog i had no idea where i was...when we got out of the fog the sun was shining, but everyone was damp from all the moisture in the air. we rode to the "Y" (no relation to a certain private college in utah) then toward woody, i think. sun rode ~50 in the sunshine the whole time, it wasn't warm, but it was sunny.....rode comfortably the whole day in a base, ls jersey, full length legs, toe covers and cap......also started out with a jacket...so was chilly, but sunny all day long. on the climb to the top of round mountain, which is the road we were on, one of the guys said lets do it no hands, uhhhh, ok ended up being a hell of a workout, 3miles mellow grade no hands, you think that will help core strength or what.... the ride down was somewhat fast, but with all the sand i was a touch hesitant to open it up. after we got to the flats again, i could tell my underbutt was sore.....them's the breaks when breaking a new saddle and puting in base distance. good ride, much more mellow than sat... some of the guys here think it's april and they need to be hammering all the time, dumbshits, breaks are good, they give you a mental kick so when your ready, your out for blood.
