zerker loop

ok, so sunday's ride was def a touch more mellow, but super enjoyable, and i do mean enjoyable. we rode to what is affectionately called the "Y" once again of no relation to that dam school in utah..from there we took a hard left and were on some strange desolate road, but we only saw a 4wheeler for the 15+ miles on this road.. from there we crossed a highway (not sure which one) and started to ride through fields, green trees on one side, grape vines on the other...quite spectacular.. by this point there were 3 of us in the "ahead" group we turned on to zerker road, hence the name zerker loop and made our way back to town. rode a frontage road back to the bike path, then on back home.. was a good ride, or at least my underbutt tells me so.

here's a pic i took the other day of a train bridge over the bike path, look close at the actual bridge.
