rmr canceled, cross ride instead

after a hard day at work, well not really.......i work hard so every day is a day of hard work...hahaha i rushed home to put the spit-shined chain back on my bike and meet the group at 9th & 9th to ride out to rmr.....only to find out, by checking my email that rmr was cancled...shitty...but i'm glad it was, you'll figure why later on. so jason and i spoke about going for a cross ride on campus, sounded awful and parts of it were, but i got it done and it hurt and was fun all at the same time.. we did 2 laps from west to east, that's right from the bottom of the hill all the way to above huntsman cancer institute. after our 2nd lap we headed south and linked onto the shoreline trail. we questioned our judgement in the matter as the sky was BLACK....it looked like the end was near, whatever no one ever said cyclists were smart... so we continued along the shoreline to pop out on sunnyside. the ride down into town was uneventful, but after i turned off from jason, the rain started coming down, hard.. i was soaked in less than 1 block..glad i was riding a cross bike..... got home, worked on getting brakes switched out on my mtn ride, just need a longer hose and some tweaking and it'll be ready to ride..now time for bed...whew, big plans for stuff to get done tomorrow..
