rmr, game on!

tonight's rmr was nothing more than a training race for me... i attacked hard, often and tried my damnedest to get away with a small group, however the B's didn't want anything to get away, funny how that works when the wind isn't blowing..

started out with a little bit of light rain, glad they didn't call it. fairly mellow till i threw down an attack, no surprise.

basically this evenings race was a big defensive joke by the B group.....although pat putt said to me that we (canyon) was like an offensive line, drilling it most of the race making the rest of the group work hard...kind of what we like to do.

i had a few words with morgan stanley, don't know his name but he really needs to get a new kit to race in...i told him he couldn't sweep turns like that as he just about took out the 3 riders next to him me being one of them. he later came up to me and apologized and said he wasn't paying attention, WOW, are you kidding me.....

the finish, funny how this always seems to happen, we slow down just before the chicane on the last lap, then people start picking up the pace just past the chicane and try to hold pace all the way around the 180 onto the straight....this is where the bumping and dipshit moves start happening. tonight i only saw 5 people make contact with each other, some JA from spin just about came into me at full speed, i cursed at him, and managed to track him down after the race and let him know that was a bad move, he understood...glad it went down that way... after he came by me, i basically sat up and didn't care how the end shook out. think i do this way too often, but my excuse of the night is i attacked a lot and well i wussed out at the sight of danger..

just finished installing juicy 7's on the mtn ride, bled them and all....that was fun, nothin like getting dot 4 brake fluid everywhere....clean up the cassette and chain tomorrow, ride this weekend...i'm kind of excited. i do enjoy mtn biking, just seems like such a hassle to go and do...oh well i've become what i once despised: A ROADIE....
