uvu crit

good times had by all, well most tonight... my first voyage to the uvu crit was a worth while one. we, jason and i, were able to race with the A group, for those of you that don't know what "A" group is it basically consists of the fastest guys typically pro's, cat1's and cat2's.....so it was fast... i think we started with 15 and finished with 9, no one gets pulled in a group that small so it just goes to show how fast it really was. on the first lap mike and ryan decide to go....ouch, they rode tempo and lapped the field, more than once... jason and i stayed with them for a bit, but man they are fast... each time they came around i would jump back on their wheel(s) and stay with them as long as i could.. as for the rest of the race, i leapfrogged up to riders and gained positions by doing so. neither jason or i finished last, so that's a good thing.....and we were able to hurt a couple of jackass racers (racers cycle service F-tard, you don't sit on someones wheel to recover and then try to drill it to drop them, it's just bad form, hope you learned your lesson)

we also jumped in with the later race, C's i think...maybe B's...at this point who knows. first lap was neutral, as we crossed the line i drilled it as hard as could for the first 2 laps, i was away by myself, was great! after the pack caught me, i sat in and expected jason to come alongside me and say lets head home...but we stayed in for ~20min then decided it was time.. it was fun doing race 2, and i think we could have destroyed that race had we not raced with the A's right before...oh well, fun times still....

now i have a headache from life, i'm sure, and dehydration....and exertion...... at work, the owner kind of rubbed me the wrong way on more than one occasion, but whatever that's why i work in the back and keep my head down and do my thing....but some of the snide comments just piss me off, and i don't know if it's even worth my time continuing to be there doing what i see as a nice thing to do..anyway, enough....still have a headache so it's bed time... tomorrow's my day to do whatever i want, or what i need to do to catch up to life.....know there will be some sort of long ride with jason...and maybe others, who knows... *****sorry some of this was wrote in anger last night, and may sound worse than it is.. i really do enjoy working where i do, and i enjoy working with the folks that i do...so yes everyone has a moment every now and then, so give me a break, i had a moment...sorry mp, know stress effects us all a little diff, this was just my way of getting through it.*****
