after a
greats night sleep, think i could have slept through just about anything, lac and i got up, packed up the car, changed the sheets on the bed, had breakfast and time to get underway. i wanted to drive some the the race route as i didn't really get too much chance to enjoy it yesterday,
except for thinking a dip in the snake would feel fantastic... WOW, what scenery traveling through snake river canyon...amazing..so green and nice looking.. as for the rest of the drive, well it wasn't that spectacular and this photo kind of reminded me of it:
hope no one took that too literal..it was meant as a joke as it was a long drive home, and i am so happy lacy drove us to logan the morning of..i don't think i could have done the race without all of her wonderful help and support. thank you..
on a side note i did take us through bear lake,
un-planned, but it was worth it to get a tasty raspberry shake..
mmmmmm and to get out of the car for a bit and walk around.
got home, unloaded the car, unpacked a bit, got cleaned up and crashed out....lacy and i were hammered.
