interbike: wham, bam, thank you mam.

alarm goes off, i think geeze i just fell asleep....got up did the usual morning rituals....then realized that we gained an hour....so i climbed back in bed and took advantage...wasn't long before i dosed off... got out of bed a while later, got everyone motivated and off to find the sands convention center...that was difficult....reminds me why i don't like vegas all that much..

picked up pass holder and proceeded directly to the blackbottoms tent, well in a very round about sort of way.. got a small plan together to get lac in the door.. then it was game on.. pc tried to stay with me, i was on a mission as i knew i only had the day to get all that i needed done..started on the left and moved most all the way through before lac got there....so i acomplished a ton.. had a nice chat with the folks at sram, timbuk2, dennis at raleigh, swung by specialized, looked for ali at bell/giro, picked up a hanger from reynolds, kind of hit a bunch of stuff super quick.... after we got lac in my energy levels were running on empty... the nice folks from paceline gave me a couple frs drinks that helped get my arse back in the game... so we continued to hit the last few booths, then doubled back to get lac some goodies...stopped along the way to talk to george masatsasckalkhjpla;iehjr;aus (he's greek or something so nearly impossible to pronounce/spell) rounded out the end. next mission to find the car...that was fun, but i think we got lucky and kind of found it straight away.. called pc and told him we were gettin ready to hit the road...so we picked him up at the shuttle drop and headed to the hotel... the check in line was a monster.......we waited for >20min to get him checked into the room... the folks in the line were nice though got to chat with this gent from kansas..he was funny...

anyway got all that taken care of, got on the road....gonna be a long drive home.. stopped in st george to pick up some, called in, food from pizza factory....best pizza factory in the state, but can't say much for the dummies that answer the phone...guess it's too hard to look at a menu and tell a customer what veg pizza's are on the "gourmet" section of the menu.....i mean are you really that stupid... so we ordered a make it yourself and called it good.....got there to pick it up and it was all ready to go, but i was kind of pissed that the one i wanted was on the menu and someone didn't take the time to find it........arrrrg.... pizza was good... and the guy that helped put it all together was great, gave us a free drink and some cookie dough...mmm we mowed most of the pizza in the car and then we were on the road again.. i was behind the wheel and on a mission to get home quick....don't think i dropped below 85 the whole way home.. got to the uc, crashed....i was hammered........
