release the anger, dmv

today was not what i would call a good day at work....
complaints:
1. should not have gone yesterday as i'm a little agitated today just from being here too much already this week
2. bitchy casey
3. having to work the front bench, as the wrench's dicked off all morning and don't think they have enough time to get all repairs done unless they pull whoever was supposed to be on the front bench
4. not even a thanks for coming in on my day off to build that dam bike
5. stupid DB and his trust issues, want to do the trade we've worked out and expected him to let me take wheels today, but no, did i already say trust issues....


super angry about last night's race, today's BS and so it's dmv time
met jex at the usual place...we rode out at a fairly mellow pace.. when we got there i met up with the crew and was happily surprised to see milner and yount there... spoke with milner and asked him to help teach some tactics to the team (frustrations from last night)...he happily accepted the challenge..
race: was sitting in the middle for the first couple laps then moved up and started drilling the pace and attacking from the front.. finally we got a group of 8 off, got into a nice rhythm but it fell apart and the group was all back together.. kept trying to get another one to go, as i would stay away for as much as a lap on my own....never happened.....all together we were, well ~6 of us were drilling it at the front trying to drop riders to finish with as few as possible.. with 5 to go we were crushing the parking lot and some dork from spin did a superman into the grass...heard it, sounded bad but was told later on it was funny to see...kept attacking...then with 2 to go i sat in and recouped on the final lap i hammered it hard down the hill and on the long straight and back ....and i mean hammered it...my plan was to put enough distance on the group so i would finish first...didn't happen that way but my big push helped ruff win, zach in the top 5 and i think i finished 7th....that's right....i'm getting stronger every race even though my results may not show it..
ride home: headed out with some rmcc guys, but quickly dropped them...i just don't understand, i mean why not get as much tempo as you can on a race night.....and i wanted to get home and head south for the night......was good, glad i did even though i was beat.....
