the little ulcer-ation, on my butt that is!

ahhh, what a morning to ride a century... i did everything i could to talk myself out of riding it, but what the hell.....arms and knees on, it was bitter.....and they stayed on for at least the first 50...

met up with the lexus crew and got things going with them...chris had an early flat that brent and i paced back to the group after he repaired.. got rollin again and into a rhythm and got a chance to meet and chat with a few of the folks....they are all pretty nice and just out there for a good time, so it made for a nice day. we had our share of flats, think there were 3, and a dropped chain but we made good time 5:30ish and that was with a nasty headwind just about the entire way... near the end brent and i were pulling a bunch as we wanted the ride to be over and to get out of the wind so that was some good training time.. got back to the start and mowed down some bagels with cream cheese or hummas...mmmmm, needed that and a little coca-cola...mmmmm again.. scored a ride into town, well 12300s at least then got back on board and rode the rest of the way home...was nice, a little chilly, but i had missed the rain so that was good.. got home, ate some stuff, fed the cats, got in a nice little epsom salt bath.....mmmmm... now catching up on blogging and thinking about doing some stuff around the house, have to see if i feel up for it..

good day on the bike, i'm glad i didn't bag out. thanks crew for a good day: tony, steve, andy, brent, ummmm, not so good with names....but know there were many more i got a chance to talk to.. and thanks for the invite to join the crew for lj...i'll let you know. also met up with byron and parker out there somewhere and some of the evo guys i linked up with for tdpc...good to see you....
