sanpete classic.....

ahhhh, the another sanpete classic......what a day. jason and i headed out quite early, got there, got our gear on and spun around... we found casey and zach and we chatted for a bit, then it was game on....

the race started fairly mellow.. with the exception of me going off the front to spin my legs up a couple times.. the first go was a solo break for 5+miles.. got back in, and attacked up a little roller, got a couple folks to go with me but we were chased down quite fast. next go i went....and it was really game on....2 bridged to me joel from simply mac and a guy from bikers edge.. we were getting into a rhythm then will from spin joined us....we were cookin....we rode 48miles with a 4 man break...it all fell apart after the 1st feed zone, one of the guys had to pee, so we slowed and we never really got back up to speed..... joel and bikers edge were done... will and i should have gone it on our own.. the group caught us just before the road turned into chip seal, what a mess. i stayed up front and took a couple pulls... it came down to a sprint finish, i hung for 9th.. jason got 4th i think, zach and casey were torched.... i like that race, just wish things would have gone different, like the break would have stayed away....oh well....life goes on. had some food, got on the road.. (raced on edge 68mm wheels)

traffic on i-15 was bad...and i was freakin as i had a wedding to attend.....well we can just say that i didn't get there in time for the ceremony, but just in time to see everyone walking over from the ceremony to the bar and table area....nice one...the bar and dinner were fantastic....glad rich and renee finally tied the knot...

got home, was hammered, showered up and went to bed.....
