wind and weird shit

well after not being able to race last night i figured i would try to make the uvu crit.. been a couple weeks since i've hit it, and i enjoy racing that crit...
3:30pm: get on bike, ride south toward uvu, yes i decided to ride there, why not...
5something: get to canyon, yes, it took me over an hour and a half to go 15miles.....a ride that usually takes me <50min... walked in the back door and the first words out of someone's mouth were: "man your looking kinda pale, you ok?" i couldn't tell, as i just got the brutal wind beat down. i hung out for a little bit to pull myself back together, then back on board to head home, riding to orem was OUT..
got home took off my helmet and this is what i saw: dan came over to pick up a bike and he said: "is your head sunburned?" uhhh, no that's dirt and shit that was blown on me and stuck to my sweaty head...yeah..

so ride highlights (south): 15miles >1.5hrs
160 av hr
101 av cad
10 av speed
yeah.....i looked down a couple times and i was pushing 180hr, 105cad and going 11mph...

as for the rest of the night, i got some stuff done around the house that's been hanging over my head: finished the dam ducting....another thing i'm glad i went to college to avoid doing. ran the wiring down to the closet, was having trouble linking holes together to make this happen.. vacuumed up my mess from ripping out the ducting and drilling holes, also vacuumed up around the house a little, those cats are messy....
